We currently have an exciting opportunity as a Manager, Talent Acquisition. This role can be based in our office located in Mississauga, or Montreal within a hybrid model and reports to the Human Resources Director, this role will work in partnership with leadership/hiring teams to ensure we continuously seek innovative ways to attract diverse external talent while also ensuring that we successfully build the countries talent strategy.

What\'s the job?

The Talent Acquisition Manager is a hands-on role that owns and delivers the end-to-end recruitment process for talent, supporting the needs of hiring managers to attract top talent. You will also be responsible for providing leadership to the Talent Acquisition Professionals and consulting with the business HR professionals to ensure they have the tools and framework to support the hiring needs in the business.

  • Successfully develop & drive Talent Acquisition strategy and initiatives for the region in partnership with the HRD to ensure all roles are filled within expected timelines
  • Lead and build a high performing team of Talent Acquisition professionals (includes coaching, performance metrics and projects)
  • Support full-cycle recruitment for all areas of the business for a segment of roles
  • Foster mobility within Canada across our brands by creating a culture where employees feel empowered to explore opportunities for career growth
  • Maximize the use of current and/or new recruitment tools (ex.: our company website, LinkedIn, social media, internal referrals, networking, etc), to ensure we are attracting a wide variety of diverse candidates
  • Continuously improve the overall recruitment process, both internally and externally. This also includes developing key metrics to understand business and customer value as well as measure our current performance and identify priorities and leading indicators
  • Support global talent acquisition programs and initiatives including hiring manager training, process improvements, and technology
  • Develop innovative strategies in understanding the businesses challenges around acquiring and retaining talent.
  • Contribute actively to shape our social media Branding Strategy to help build our employer brand and attend events if required.
  • Lead re-branding effort and development of our employer brand on Indeed, Glassdoor, etc for Canada
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies to include professional networking, direct sourcing, employee referrals, and advertising with particular focus on hard to source regions and skill sets.
  • Sourcing candidates using innovative solutions that attracts talent to our organization
  • Manage relationship with external recruitment agencies related to your client group
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with HR partners and hiring managers.
  • In partnership with purchasing team and North American Talent Acquisition Manager manage relationships with external vendors including, but not limited to staffing agencies, background check companies, web-advertising providers (Indeed, LinkedIn etc.), pre-employment assessment providers
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

What do you bring
  • 7+ years\' experience in recruitment with a minimum of 5 years in a senior recruitment position
  • 3+ years of supporting continuous improvement initiatives/projects within Human Resources and knowledge of metrics and reporting
  • 3+ years in leadership and demonstrated success in building high performing Talent Acquisition teams
  • Successful track record- Success in managing full cycle recruitment processes from requisition to hire.
  • Self-motivated with excellent customer service and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others, understand the business by developing trust & credibility across the business
  • Strong project management experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office (excel, power point, word, outlook) skills
  • Experience with relevant social media and recruitment/applicant tracking platforms and tools
  • Experience in a multi-location manufacturing environment will be considered an asset
  • Experience using any ATS
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Canadian employment law and policies as they apply to recruitment and selection.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset
