We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator- 1 Year Term (Hybrid/Remote)


Given the size and scope of our organization, we have the flexibility for this position to be located in the following head office locations: Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg:


The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will support Talent Acquisition Advisors and Specialists in the recruitment and on boarding of top talent into the company, providing administrative support to various steps in the recruitment cycle.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support TA Advisors and Specialist in the set-up and processing of requisitions for vacancies and maintaining candidate records in the talent acquisition system, including the set-up of screening criteria and tools
  • Screen internal candidates from the company’s career portal for open requisitions for suitability and fit
  • Coordinate testing of candidates and assist in applicant resume screening and the preparation of candidate short-lists when requested
  • Coordinate interview schedules including coordinating the participants, space and any required equipment and technology
  • Coordinate and ensure completion of all candidate checks inclusive of backcheck
  • Develop and receive candidate offer letters and prepare and deliver new hire packages
  • Set up new and returning hire information into the staff change form, ready for accurate entry into the HRIS



QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bilingual (French/English) required
  • Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Human Resources is preferred
  • Understanding of recruitment tools and techniques
  • Experience in processing staff changes, new hire paperwork, position creation (manual/online)
  • Online systems use and administration
  • Demonstrated ability to execute with high attention to detail
  • Time management and organization technique
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to plan, balance and manage a high volume of activity, multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast paced/competing priorities environment
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills and the ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated understanding, background or education in Human Resources
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft office, Dayforce Ceridian, Applicant Tracking Systems)
