As a Talent Acquisition Advisor at Pinchin, you will be responsible for executing strategic sourcing plans to create talent pipelines for high-volume technical, scientific, and engineering positions. You will build strong candidate pipelines, negotiate offers and manage the candidate experience. This role will provide recruitment support to client groups located in different regions across Canada and the USA. **This is a flex hybrid role, requiring 3 days in our Mississauga office, and 2 days remote for the first 3 months for training**

A Day in the life of a Talent Acquisition Advisor at Pinchin:


  • Source a high volume of passive candidates for positions across different departments
  • Manage the full cycle recruitment process including drafting job postings/job specs, screening, interviewing, preparing offers, and conducting reference checks
  • Strategically utilize recruitment tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other job boards to attract and engage with candidates
  • Research and build relationships with underrepresented communities and groups
  • Assist and manage multiple open requisitions at a given time
  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates including but not limited to, social media, colleges, universities, and professional associations
  • Identify emerging recruitment trends and provide recommendations for innovative search strategies
  • Develop and foster strong relationships with internal hiring managers


What you bring to the Talent Acquisition team:


  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field
  • Two to four years of proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, Recruiter (corporate recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter) or similar role
  • Proven track record of recruiting in niche candidate markets across multiple locations in Canada and USA-wide preferred
  • Experience with an applicant tracking system (ADP Preferred)

  • Strong organization and communication skills, ability to multi-task while paying attention to detail, and working in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in strategic sourcing of passive candidates through various recruitment channels (LinkedIn, Indeed, Google and ATS)
  • Passionate about being a subject matter expert in recruitment
  • Ability to manage multiple roles and address hiring needs with a strong sense of urgency, while providing excellent candidate experience
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels
  • Positive energy and excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, with proven ability to manage multiple searches at a time
