Uncle Gino's Pizzeria - Takeout Counter Associate

Position Overview:

We're looking for a friendly, reliable Takeout Counter Associate to join our team at Uncle Gino's Pizzeria. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, providing great customer service, and keeping things running smoothly behind the counter.

Key Responsibilities:

Answer Phones:

Take customer orders clearly and accurately, provide menu information, and handle inquiries.

Operate the Till:

Process payments, handle cash and card transactions, and ensure accurate checkout procedures.

Order Entry:

Make sure all orders are punched in correctly, written clearly, and communicated properly to the kitchen.

Maintain Cleanliness:

Keep the takeout counter, work area, and front-of-house tidy, organized, and presentable at all times.

Restocking:

Ensure sauces, napkins, cutlery, containers, and other supplies are filled and ready for service.

Prep Work:

Assist with basic food prep tasks as needed (e.g., portioning, packaging, assembling items).

Customer Service:

Greet guests warmly, provide helpful service, and ensure every customer leaves satisfied.

Strong communication skills Ability to multitask in a busy environment Attention to detail Positive attitude and teamwork skills Reliability and good time management Experience in food service or customer service is an asset, but not required--willing to train the right person!

Hours & Pay:

Flexible part-time or full-time hours. Pay based on experience, skill and reliability. Starting at Minimum wage but will pay more if you are reliable, make good use of your time, friendly and professional with customers and prove to be a valuable team member

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
