Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sewing and a keen eye for detail, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship in every project. As a Seamstress, you will work on alterations that meet our clients' specifications. This role requires excellent sewing skills and strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients.

Responsibilities

Operate sewing machines and other equipment to construct garments and perform alterations. Measure clients accurately to ensure proper fit and make necessary adjustments. Interpret patterns and designs to create custom pieces according to client specifications. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their needs and preferences. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored. Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards. Assist in inventory management of fabrics and supplies as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Seamstress or in a similar role is preferred. Proficient in operating industrial sewing machines and tools. Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work consistently. Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
