Tailor / Alteration Specialist

Job Description
We are looking for professional tailors capable of working under a strict time schedule, while maintaining a consistent quality of work on a variety of different types of clothing, material, and household items.Responsibilities
- Capable of Hemming
- Shorting sleeves on shirts & take-in sides
- Shorten sleeves on blazer & take-in sides
- Shorten dress & take-in sides
- Capable of working on wedding dresses
- Working with leathers on all types of clothing
- Sewing buttons & changing zippers
- Ironing clothes to remove all creases
- Basic capacity to work with computers
- Must be over 18 years old
- Minimum tailoring and alteration experience up to 5 years, and preferably more
- No high-school education required
- Eligible to work in Canada legally
- Customer service
- Must be capable of speaking English
Part-time hours: 40 per weekSalary: $15.00-$20.00 per hourFlexible Language Requirement:
- French not required
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability
- Edmonton, AB T6W2P3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
- alteration: 2 years (preferred)
