We're seeking a motivated

Test and Balance (TAB) Engineering Technician

to support the documentation and reporting of building system performance and TAB analysis. The ideal candidate brings strong technical skills, attention to detail, and thrives in a collaborative team environment. All required training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Prepare and finalize TAB reports with accuracy and compliance. Perform engineering calculations related to air and hydronic systems. Clean, update, and maintain AutoCAD drawings. Conduct mechanical systems data analysis for performance and efficiency. Read and interpret engineered project drawings and specifications. Collaborate with Engineers, TAB Technicians, and Contractors to ensure accurate reporting. Occasional site visits may be required, primarily for data verification or coordination.

Required Background

Preferred candidate will have completed a post secondary education in Building Engineering Technology OR equivalent trades background (HVAC, plumbing, electrical). Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD preferred) for updating and maintaining drawings. Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel for reporting and data analysis.
