WESCAM is currently seeking a Systems Engineer to join our elite design team. Your need for a challenge will be fulfilled as you deal with the complexity of integrating the efforts of multiple engineering disciplines to create our world-class surveillance products, plus you\'ll be working with some of the best educated and brightest designers in the business. Within this environment your ideas and skills will be enhanced by excellent technology and you will serve as a key member in a multi-disciplinary R&D team working on a wide variety of imaging and laser systems. Primary Responsibilities

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Provide a technical leadership for the development ofEO/IR products

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Assist in the development of system specifications and interface control documents

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Assist in creation and maintaining of Contract Data Requirements List Deliverable Data Items

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Maintain traceability of project requirements

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Support product level design and analysis tasks in support of system level requirements

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Document system design assumptions, trade-offs, issues, in a design description document

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Conduct product qualification and system integration verification/validation tests

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Generate qualification plan and the qualification summary report

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Participate in system design reviews

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Ensures deliverable product meets the design objectives

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Support Bids and Proposals process with proposal specifications, identification of proposed system LRUs

\xc3\x82\xc2\xb7Collaborate with other Senior Engineers on the creation of new product features and sensors.

Required Capabilities

Desired Education and Experiences
