Job Description

Robert Half is seeking French/English bilingual Instructional Designers who have experience with conceptualizing and developing content based on adult learning principles. The Instructional Designer will work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and existing content to develop hybrid learning modules that will be delivered in person, virtually and through asynchronous online courses. This is a six-contract role which would begin in mid September and can be completed remotely.

This Project will encompass the following responsibilities:
- Collaborate with SMEs and course authors to design and create French course materials that effectively convey topics around performing daily accounting tasks using new software tools.
- Provide suggestions and strategies for incorporating various interaction types, multimedia elements, and real-world scenarios to enhance learner engagement and comprehension.
- Design assessments that measure learners\' understanding and knowledge retention, considering various formats such as quizzes, assignments, job aids and hands-on exercises.
- Develop feedback mechanisms that guide learners\' progress and help them improve their skills throughout the course.
- Collaborate with authors and the development team to identify and address any issues related to course continuity, completeness, copyright compliance, accessibility, and learning technology integration.
- Offer guidance and instructions to the in-house development team on effective page layout, content chunking, and visual signaling to optimize the learning experience.

- Demonstrated experience as a French/ English bilingual Instructional Designer, with samples of previous work to share.
- Proven experience in designing and developing engaging online courses, especially in the domains of Systems - Familiarity with instructional design models, adult learning principles, and e-learning best practices.
- Proficiency in collaborating with SMEs, course authors, and development teams to create effective educational materials.
- Strong understanding of multimedia integration, interaction design, and assessment strategies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools including Articulate Storyline, Rise, Vyond and Camtasia
- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
