Who are we looking for?



We are looking for Intermediate System/Network Admin who has

PASSION

for technology and wants to grow professionally. Someone who likes technical challenges and finds ways to solve them.

You have a natural talent for troubleshooting issues across computers, networks, and servers, and you're confident in your ability to resolve them efficiently.

You have 3-5 years of experience in computer & network support. In your IT experience you have configured corporate networks, systems, servers and networks. You have a strong desire to advance your IT skills to the next level.

Sum up of responsibilities:



Monitor and manage incoming support requests via the ticketing system, email, and phone; respond in a timely manner in line with company SLAs Perform in-depth troubleshooting and root cause analysis across network, software, hardware, and cloud environments Handle support tickets across Tier 1 to Tier 3, including issues related to PCs, servers, networks, and cloud platforms; ensure resolution and customer satisfaction Monitor and respond to system alerts, taking action or escalating as appropriate Monitor backup systems and perform quarterly test restores to verify data integrity Proactively monitor client systems and perform regular maintenance to ensure optimal performance and prevent issues Work directly with third-party vendors on behalf of clients to resolve technical issues efficiently Provide onsite support when issues cannot be resolved remotely

Skills / Qualifications:



Meraki cloud-managed networking - expert-level and hands-on experience Cisco firewalls, switches, and Ubiquiti wireless solutions - expert-level configuration and troubleshooting TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and wireless networking - deep understanding and professional experience Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, and Entra ID (Azure AD) - strong working knowledge of administration and integration Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11, Server 2016/2019/2022) - advanced support and configuration experience Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, NPS - professional-level understanding and deployment experience Virtualization platforms (Hyper-V and/or VMware) - hands-on use Server installation, maintenance, patching, and troubleshooting - professional-level experience IT infrastructure best practices - strong understanding of standards used in customer environments Self-directed learning and technology research skills Problem-solving and troubleshooting - detail-oriented with a proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues Commitment to high standards - capable of delivering reliable, high-quality work independently and in a team

This position offers flexible working hours. However, it is essential that this flexibility does not compromise the customer experience, and all customer requests should be addressed promptly and efficiently.

Only candidates residing in Vancouver Lower Mainland will be considered, as this job requires casual onsite visits to customers. Our office is located in Downtown Vancouver.

The typical hiring range for this position is $20 -$40 per hour. The final agreed upon wage may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
