Job Description

Our client is looking for an IT Systems Analyst with a focus on network administration and support. This is a 6-month contract position in Calgary, AB with the possibility to turn into a permanent position.

Location: Downtown Calgary (this is NOT a remote role)

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Infrastructure expertise to facilitate and improve IT initiatives, Infrastructure stability and compliance with best practices along with Tourmaline defined standards and policies
• Support acceleration of Tourmaline IT strategy and initiatives
• Administrate and support our corporate networking infrastructure to/from/within our data centers and offices
• Accountability for specific primary Areas of Responsibility (AoR), providing backup support for team AoR's when required
• Manage, monitor, and maintain existing infrastructure systems and applications
• Day-to-Day tasks include regular ticket reviews, incident response and project work, maintaining Service Levels and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for IT infrastructure
• Perform change management processes to ensure adequate control of systems and information
• Creation and maintenance of IT systems documentation
• Stay current with existing Tourmaline technologies, standards, and IT Roadmap

Required Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of Enterprise IT experience in a hybrid environment (cloud & on-prem)
• Infrastructure configuration, monitoring & troubleshooting
• Networking experience with

• LANs
• WANs
• WIFI
• VPNs
• Remote Access
• Server and application monitoring using Solarwinds tools
• Enterprise Backup and disaster recovery experience
• Enterprise security concepts and best practices

Desired Qualifications:

• Oil and Gas application support experience
• Experience with Azure services including routing and NSGs
• Palo Alto firewalls
• E-mail services
• Authentication, Authorization, Accounting
