The Role
As a member of Cameco's business technology services department (BTS) and reporting to the manager, servers and storage, you will support server and storage infrastructure for the global enterprise and actively participate in technology related projects.
In this role, you will:
• Collaborate with BTS team members to resolve problems and create solutions to support users and business goals
• Gather and analyse requirements, plan tasks and dependencies, provide status reports and meet timelines to ensure a high level of success in delivering solutions
• Have a tenacious and insatiable attitude toward troubleshooting and solving problems.
• have the opportunity to work with several technologies including, but not limited to:
+ PowerShell, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policies
+ Multi-Vendor hardware
+ UNIX/LINUX environments
+ VMware vSphere
+ Multi Cloud (O365, Azure, Google) Architecture, design, and implementation
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• Up to three years of professional IT experience troubleshooting, maintaining, and supporting a large, multi-domain Active Directory environment
• Experience configuring and tuning cloud-hosted solutions (Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
• Solid understanding of cloud-based infrastructure
• Experience with common DevOps tools used in Cloud environments
• Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
Recommended:
• Current Microsoft Certification
• Experience designing, implementing, or managing any of the software listed above
