Vaughan is your place to grow.Position OverviewResponsible for providing Technical Systems support and consultation to the City of Vaughan including, analyzing technical business requirements, designing, or evaluating available automated corporate and business solutions, recommending technical options, performing unit testing, preparing development and implementation plans, and providing project management and any associated documentation. Will also be responsible for the consulting, design, delivery, and improvement of in-house software applications and integrations.At employee request, this position is eligible to take part in our hybrid work model as outlined in the City\'s Alternative Work Arrangement Policy.Qualifications and Experience

• University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or suitable equivalent.
• Minimum of one (5) year\' experience in the field of Management Information Systems including (2) years\' of systems analysis and project management responsibilities. Software development experience is an asset.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in application support, including liasing with internal clients and external consultants.
• Proficiency in the use of general computer software, e.g. Windows 10, MS Office 365, SharePoint, Project Management Applications/Software, etc
• Knowledge of PMBOK/BABOK or PMP/IIBA designations would be an asset.
