Job Summary:

The System Analyst, Intermediate, is responsible for taking the lead on projects for our growing portfolio of applications and ensuring timely delivery of system enhancements and support.


Responsibility:



Core IT & Analysis



Advanced Requirements Engineering

: Facilitate workshops, create user stories, and manage traceability.

Process Optimization

: Redesign workflows using Lean/Six Sigma principles.

System Integration Design

: Collaborate with architects to define interfaces and data flows.

Lifecycle Management

: Lead phases of SDLC or Agile product lifecycle with minimal supervision.

ERP & Tools Proficiency

: Configure ERP modules; advanced use of DevOps, Jira, Confluence.

SQL & Data Analysis

: Write complex queries, joins, and stored procedures for analysis and validation.

Testing Leadership

: Design test plans, lead UAT, and manage defect triage.

Data & AI



Applied Machine Learning

: Collaborate with data scientists to translate models into business use cases.

Data Wrangling

: Clean and transform data using Python (Pandas, NumPy) and SQL.

AI Integration

: Assist in deploying AI models into business systems (e.g., Azure ML pipelines).

Power BI Mastery

: Create interactive dashboards with DAX and data modeling.

AI Governance

: Contribute to responsible AI practices and model explainability.

Manufacturing Domain Knowledge



Digital Twin & IoT Awareness

: Understand how sensor data feeds into predictive systems.

MES/ERP Integration

: Map data flows between shop-floor systems and enterprise platforms.

Operational Efficiency

: Analyze bottlenecks and recommend tech-driven improvements.

Communication



Stakeholder Management

: Engage with cross-functional teams and manage expectations.

Business Case Development

: Support ROI analysis and cost-benefit evaluations.

Change Management

: Assist in training, documentation, and adoption strategies.

Mentorship

: Guide junior analysts and contribute to knowledge sharing.

Academic/Educational Requirements



Post-Secondary Education in Computer Science, Information Sciences, Management Information Systems, Business Administration or related field or a combination or education and work experience. PMI PMP certification or relevant courses

Required Skills/Experience



Demonstrated experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products. Minimum three years in a System Analyst, Project Lead or Business Analyst role. Prior technical experience with ERP systems; DevOps, Jira, Confluence; Python (Pandas, NumPy), SQL; Power BI DAX and Data Modeling are required. Collaborate with architects to define interfaces and data flows. Ability to interpret process flow charts. Strong documentation and critical thinking skills. Check calculations on supplier invoices and approve payments. Confirm quantities, prices and amounts, check tax calculations and verify totals before paying invoices. Knowledge of development tools and languages Ability to make presentations to other information technology professionals and senior management. Ability to work independently but may also work on teams with project leaders, software developers and subject matter experts as needed.
