We are seeking a Systems Administrator Student for our North American Headquarters (NAHQ) district, within our Canadian Buildings Division that is available for 4 months or 8 months starting in May 2023. This is an in-person opportunity located in our Edmonton office.
As a Systems Administrator Student, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:


Responsibilities


  • Desktop application troubleshooting and support
  • Assists with configuration and deployment of network equipment (switches, routers, VPN)
  • Creates requisitions for IT equipment and replace office hardware
  • Sets up new hire system accesses and equipment
  • Logs and responds to technology related issues and requests
  • Troubleshoots technical issues with users
  • Creates process documentation
  • Other responsibilities as required


Qualifications


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional problem solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team
  • Support experience
  • Ability to contribute to a positive, respectful, and productive work atmosphere
  • Network / server admin background would be an asset
  • Some lifting and installing of computer equipment required
