POSITION TITLE: SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR - CITRIX

LOCATION: REMOTE (VANCOUVER, BC)

OVERVIEW:

Charter is currently seeking two (2) experienced IT System Administrators (Citrix) who will be responsible for maintaining/optimizing the performance and availability of the Citrix infrastructure in conjunction with leveraging Windows Server/Active Directory skills in an enterprise level IT environment. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience providing L2/L3 support, administering, and managing Citrix systems, Windows Server and Active Directory. Previous experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Citrix Virtual Desktop infrastructure and Citrix XenApp/Xen Desktop 6.5, 7.6 or higher would be a great asset. The work may be completed remotely but must reside in Canada for the duration of the project. Term: One (1) year. Strong potential of extension.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• 6+ years of System Administrator (Citrix) experience building, maintaining, and providing support to Windows server and Citrix infrastructure in enterprise IT environment.

• Experience managing Citrix Virtual Desktop infrastructure.

• Experience configurating, and troubleshooting Citrix XenApp/Xen Desktop 6.5, 7.6 or higher.

• Experience supporting Citrix server environment running in SAN environment.

• Experience managing Microsoft Active Directory.

• Degree/Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent would be an asset.

• Active Industry Certifications would be an asset. Ie Citrix, Windows Server, etc.

• Excellent written and verbal communication (English) is required.

• Must be authorized to work in Canada for the duration of the project.
