Dovre Group is pleased to present the following opportunity: Sustainability Advisor (Stakeholders and Indigenous Groups).

Function

Job Summary:

  • For the present position we are seeking a candidate with knowledge and experience within the Newfoundland and Labrador stakeholder / Indigenous Groups engagements field.
Accountabilities:
  • This role is required to support the Company's offshore business in the development and execution of external stakeholder engagement initiatives, including:
  • Provide input to regulatory, Indigenous, diversity, equity and inclusion, industry, fishery, and other external engagement planning, including developing presentation materials, stakeholder profiles, key objectives, logistics, and internal resourcing
  • Responsible for logistics related to stakeholder engagement activities
  • Support facilitation of engagement activities
  • Collaborate across internal teams to enable effective external stakeholder relations planning
  • Support tracking and process management related to external engagement
The candidate should have experience in the following:
  • Working and representing an organization with government, non-government organizations, Indigenous communities and leadership, and the public.
  • Engaging and consulting with Indigenous Groups
  • Knowledge of Indigenous issues
  • Knowledge of gender equity and diversity issues, networks, and organizations
  • Facilitating and/or developing and implementing community engagement initiatives
Requirements

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of stakeholder relations experience
  • Strong writing skills, with the ability to adapt technical material into easy-to-understand messaging
  • Ability to create and deliver effective presentations
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong computer skills (including MS Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint)
Personal Qualities:
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to represent the Company in a professional way
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across teams and functions
  • A team player who brings creativity, enthusiasm, and a strategic outlook
