We are looking for a Sushi Restaurant Owner/Operator. As a Restaurant Owner, you will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the restaurant, ensuring a high-quality dining experience for customers while maintaining profitability and efficiency. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for the culinary arts, and a deep understanding of the restaurant industry. You will oversee all aspects of the business, from staffing and training to inventory management and customer service.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement restaurant policies, procedures, and standards to ensure operational excellence.
Manage daily operations including staffing, scheduling, and training of employees.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as food quality standards.
Oversee inventory management including ordering supplies, managing stock levels, and minimizing waste.
Create and maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and employee satisfaction.
Engage with customers to gather feedback and improve service quality.
Handle financial management tasks such as budgeting, forecasting, and expense control.
Collaborate with marketing teams to promote the restaurant through various channels.
Experience
Proven experience in restaurant management or ownership is essential.
Familiarity with various types of driving skills is a plus including manual transmission, refrigerated trailer operation, flatbed driving, tanker experience, truck driving, commercial driving, tractor-trailer operation, delivery driver experience, forklift operation, dump truck handling, roll-off truck experience, freight handling, load & unload capabilities, and route driving.
Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills.
A background in culinary arts or hospitality management is preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
