Responsibilities
Prepare and assemble a variety of sushi dishes with precision and artistry, adhering to traditional techniques and presentation standards
Handle all aspects of food preparation, including slicing fish, preparing rice, and assembling sushi rolls
Ensure all ingredients are stored properly and maintained according to food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station and kitchen area in compliance with health standards
Assist in menu development by suggesting new sushi recipes and presentation styles
Serve dishes promptly while ensuring quality control and consistency
Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service experiences to guests
Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, sanitation, and kitchen operations
Skills
Proven experience in serving, food preparation, and cooking within a restaurant or food industry setting
Strong knowledge of sushi making techniques, including fish handling and meal preparation
Excellent food safety practices and adherence to hygiene standards
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction
