Job Description

Phasor Engineering is an industry leader in electrical infrastructure design, installation, and commissioning. Phasor is a part of the Valard Group of Companies and part of the Quanta Group, the largest electrical power contractor in North America. Phasor’s Geomatics division provides specialized geomatics solutions to many industries and specializes in the electrical infrastructure industry. Phasor Engineering is looking for Survey Party Chief for a project that is located in Wyoming, Colorado and Utah. Requirements

• Perform daily field survey activities including obtaining survey measurements, staking for infrastructure construction, locating and establishing survey monuments, marking boundaries and rights of way and locating above and underground facilities
• Interpret design drawings, field data, field sketches and base maps
• Communicate effectively and regularly with Field Leads, Project Managers, Professional Land Surveyors and Client Field Representatives
• Coordinate field crew’s daily activities and supervise, mentor and train survey assistants
• Operate and maintain assigned survey equipment; ATVs/UTVs/Argos/Snowmobiles, Tools and Materials
• Actively promote Phasor's Health, Safety and Environmental Program
• Employees will be required to meet Federal and Client Vaccination Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Previous Survey experience in engineering, construction, or industrial surveys
• Must have valid Driver’s License and maintain a “clean” driver’s record
• Technical diploma in Geomatics or Civil Engineering is preferred
