Ready to suit up as a Gatehouse Security Guard at a leading industrial manufacturing site?
This full-time position is located at 6275 Millcreek Dr, Mississauga, ON L5N 1L8, where you'll be protecting a major organization in the industrial tools and manufacturing industry.
In this role, your sharp eye for detail and strong observational skills will be essential as you monitor activity, manage access, and maintain a safe environment.
As a Gatehouse Security Guard, you'll be the first line of defense-spotting and responding to potential threats before they escalate in gatehouse environments, parking lots, security operation centres, call centres, and construction sites.

Responsibilities of a Gatehouse Security Guard

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Document observed events and incidents through detailed written reports
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure site safety
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identification
• Identify vulnerabilities or malfunctions within security systems
• Assist law enforcement during emergencies or serious incidents

Qualifications for Gatehouse Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Valid Ontario Security Guard License - Required
• Must have Standard First Aid & CPR Level C certification (WSIB Approved)
• Strong documentation and report-writing abilities
• Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for the duration of your shift
