Surface Land Administrator About us: Tallahassee Exploration Inc. is an oil & gas company focused on exploitation and strategic acquisitions in the Western Canada Basin. The Company has an extensive inventory of low-risk oil & gas development assets in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba. The 4 core operating areas (the Business Units) of the Company are NEBC, Northern AB, Southern AB, and the Heavy Oil (Lloydminster & nearby areas). Tallahassee has an experienced technical and management team in place with a sound-track record of shareholder value creation. The Company is debt-free and fully equity-based structure. It is return-driven and focused on delivering per share growth in cash flow, production, and reserves. The company is growing its bench strength to position itself to be a mid size operating company in 2023. Job Purpose: The Surface Land Administrator will work closely with the asset team and provide timely and accurate technical assistance in order to facilitate efficient planning and execution of Land projects. Key Responsibilities:

  • Inputting, maintaining and administering surface leases, easements and road use agreements in the Land system.
  • Issuing third party agreements relating to road use and crossings
  • Monitoring monthly surface rentals generated from the Land system.
  • Ensuring that all land data, including cross-referencing and project related work, is executed, maintained and accessible.
  • Reviewing, coding & approving partner surface lease and road use invoices in the accounting system
  • Surface land reporting
  • Communicating with land brokers
  • Assisting with well setup and administration in the Land System
  • Working with Accounting and other departments to ensure synchronization of records.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required:
  • Completion of Petroleum Land Administration Certificate
  • 2-5 years surface land administration experience
\xc2\xb7 Experience with Landrite, Abadata, and GeoScout \xc2\xb7 Experience with government online service systems
  • Working knowledge and understanding of AB, BC, & SK Crown and Freehold Land regulations
  • Working knowledge of AFE & AP systems
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
