Assist with
Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
includingbathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
Providemedication support
according to prescribed instructions Offercompanionship
andemotional support
to promotewell-being
Assist withmobility, transfers, and lifting
, ensuringclient safety
Performlight housekeeping
to maintain aclean and safe environment
Monitor and document
changes inbehavior, health, or condition
Support individuals withspecialized needs
such asdementia, autism, or hearing impairments
Communicate effectively
with clients, families, and team membersRequired Skills & Qualifications
Experience
in assisted living, nursing homes, or community carepreferred
Knowledge ofdisability support, personal care, and client-centered service
Ability to managecleaning tasks
and maintain asafe home environment
Competency inmeal preparation
tailored todietary requirements
Understanding ofmedication administration protocols
Excellent communication skills
, both verbal and written Experience withAmerican Sign Language (ASL)
is astrong asset
Emergency First Aid and CPR certification
(or willing to obtain within 90 days)Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Information Check
required Must belegally eligible to work in Canada
