Community Care Worker - Make a Difference!



We are seeking a

Community Care Worker

to join our team in supporting individuals in

residential or group home settings

. You will play a

enhancing quality of life

for individuals with

disabilities

personalized care, daily assistance, and emotional support

Key Responsibilities



Assist with

Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)

including

bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation

Provide

medication support

according to prescribed instructions Offer

companionship

and

emotional support

to promote

well-being

Assist with

mobility, transfers, and lifting

, ensuring

client safety

Perform

light housekeeping

to maintain a

clean and safe environment

Monitor and document

changes in

behavior, health, or condition

Support individuals with

specialized needs

such as

dementia, autism, or hearing impairments

Communicate effectively

with clients, families, and team members

Required Skills & Qualifications



Experience

in assisted living, nursing homes, or community care

preferred

Knowledge of

disability support, personal care, and client-centered service

Ability to manage

cleaning tasks

and maintain a

safe home environment

Competency in

meal preparation

tailored to

dietary requirements

Understanding of

medication administration protocols

Excellent communication skills

, both verbal and written Experience with

American Sign Language (ASL)

is a

strong asset

Emergency First Aid and CPR certification

(or willing to obtain within 90 days)

Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Information Check

required Must be

legally eligible to work in Canada

(

valid work or study permit

if applicable)
