About the Role:



We are seeking a

compassionate

reliable Community Care Worker

to join our team in supporting individuals in a

residential or group home setting

Key Responsibilities:



Assist with

Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)

including

bathing

,

dressing

,

grooming

, and

meal preparation

Provide

medication support

in line with prescribed instructions Offer

companionship

and

emotional support

to promote well-being Assist with

mobility

,

transfers

, and

lifting

, ensuring

client safety

Perform

light housekeeping duties

to maintain a clean and safe environment Monitor and document changes in

client behavior

,

health

, or condition Support individuals with

specialized needs

such as

dementia

,

autism

, or

hearing impairments

Communicate effectively with

clients

,

families

, and

team members


Required Skills & Qualifications:



Experience

working in

assisted living

,

nursing homes

, or

community care

settings preferred Knowledge of

disability support

,

personal care

, and

client-centered service

Ability to manage

cleaning tasks

and maintain a safe home environment Competency in

meal preparation

tailored to dietary requirements Understanding of

medication administration protocols

Excellent communication skills

, both verbal and written Experience with

American Sign Language (ASL)

is a strong asset

Emergency First Aid and CPR certification

(or willing to obtain within 90 days of hire)

Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Information Check

(mandatory before start) Must be

legally eligible to work in Canada

(must submit valid

work or study permit

if applicable)
