Cassellholme, a not for profit, charitable organization, operates a 240 bed Long-Term Care facility, and a Community Support Services program in the district of East Nipissing. Cassellholme is located in the City of North Bay which is situated within 3 hours of both Toronto and Ottawa. Nestled between beautiful Lake Nipissing and Trout Lake, the district offers both urban and country living, with multiple recreational opportunities.
Cassellholme is seeking a
SUPPORT SERVICES ASSISTANT
to work on a temporary, full-time basis to provide administrative support to the Nutrition & Food Services team.
What can I expect to do in this role?
In this role, you will use your knowledge and skills to -
Inventory & Supply Management:
Organize and maintain accurate records for all food storage areas (dry, frozen, refrigerated), track expiry dates for menu integration, and manage small wares inventory and restocking.
Menu & Production Coordination:
Produce and distribute daily production lists, labels, and resident-specific menus (including modified selection sheets and tray tags) for dining room and staff use.
Clinical & Special Service Support:
Prepare and distribute daily resident nourishments and special orders; maintain the Meals on Wheels database and provide administrative support for the MOW program.
Administrative & Scheduling Support:
Manage departmental scheduling and attendance data, perform general office tasks (filing, photocopying), and assist with special administrative projects.
Operational Collaboration:
Maintain positive interdepartmental relationships and perform other duties as assigned to ensure efficient facility operations.
How do I qualify?
You have a post-secondary certification or diploma in office administration or related discipline
You have administrative experience in a health care environmen
You have a satisfactory criminal police information check with vulnerable sector screening
