Job Title: Supply Teacher
Location: Laureate College, Ontario

Employment Type: Part-Time (as needed)

Position Overview:
Laureate College is seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary classroom Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction as a supply teacher on a as needed basis. This role begins on immediately. Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and effective lessons in accordance with Laureate College's academic standards and the Ontario Secondary School Curriculum.

Supervise and manage classroom behaviour to ensure a positive and respectful learning environment.

Implement lesson plans provided by regular classroom teachers, adapting as needed to meet student learning needs.

Maintain accurate attendance records and ensure student safety and well-being at all times.

Support students in achieving learning objectives through clear instruction, guidance, and encouragement.

Communicate effectively with school administrators, colleagues, and support staff regarding student progress, classroom issues, or required follow-up.

Uphold Laureate College's values, policies, and professional expectations in all interactions with students and staff.

Demonstrate flexibility in teaching a variety of subjects or grade levels as assigned.

Participate in school life as appropriate, contributing to a supportive and inclusive learning community.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Social Science, Business or a related discipline. Teaching certification (OCT) or equivalent qualifications (preferred). Previous experience teaching multiple subjects. Strong organizational, communication, and classroom management skills. A commitment to student success and creating an engaging learning environment.
