We are seeking an individual who are :

Dependable, flexible, and reliable Loves working with children and supporting their growth and development Fluent in reading and writing in English A team player who works well with others Has a strong work ethic and a positive, professional attitude Engages effectively with children, families, and fellow staff Understands and applies the principles of How Does Learning Happen? (HDLH) and DROC Capable of conducting observations and documentation to support children's learning

Qualifications:

Valid Early Childhood Assistant (ECA) certification or equivalent experience Up-to-date Vulnerable Sector Check Current First Aid & CPR certification Knowledge ofchild development, HDLH,and DROC Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Previous experience in a licensed childcare setting is an asset

What You'll Do:

Support RECEs and staff in delivering high-quality, developmentally appropriate programming Build warm, responsive relationships with children and families Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment Participate in daily routines, observations, and documentation Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and professional team culture
