We currently have exciting opportunities within our Cavendish Farms operations for Supply Chain Student to join our teams in Dieppe, New Brunswick, for the Summer 2024 Work Term.

Cavendish Farms is a leading producer of frozen food products for retail and foodservice markets throughout Canada, the United States, and around the world. We have state-of-the-art potato processing plants in Prince Edward Island, Lethbridge, Alberta, and Jamestown, North Dakota, and an appetizer plant in Wheatley, Ontario. Our Head Office is in Dieppe, New Brunswick and has sales office locations in Toronto, Montreal, and Boston.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Optimization Manager, the summer student would receive an opportunity to get a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of Cavendish Farms Data Management, System, Process and more!

• Enrolled in an undergraduate degree.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Team player.

The Main Duties/Responsibilities of This Role Include:

• Assist with the day-to-day Product Information tasks.
• Obtain, organize, and maintain GS1 data with existing data.
• Executing the publication of product in our GS1 platforms.
• Data entry and other administrative duties as required.

Critical experiences gained:

• Understanding of end-to-end Data Management and Process area through hands on experience and interactions with different stakeholders.
• Plant tour to see our manufacturing process in action.
• Understanding of master data and data quality.
• Learning of Procedure Flow process mapping software.
• Overall Supply Chain understanding
