We are currently seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join our collaborative Leadership Team in the key role of: Supply Chain Manager The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the planning, procurement, inventory control and transportation functions. This position is accountable for the delivery of equipment and supplies to meet production schedule requirements. Ultimately, this position ensures all departments have adequate access to the materials they need, when they are needed and executes the organization\'s overall supply chain policies, objectives, and initiatives. Key Activities & Responsibilities
Promoting a safe work environment with hourly and salary employees
Leading a team of Planners, Buyers, and Logistics personnel to effectively source and provide parts, components, and services required for the production of equipment.
Responsible for material control, transportation and delivery of all company raw materials, purchased items and finished products.
Manage cycle counting program ensuring \xe2\x80\x9cabsolute\xe2\x80\x9d and \xe2\x80\x9cnet\xe2\x80\x9d accuracy of inventory are within company targets of >98%
Plans, prepares and coordinates annual physical inventory.
Plan, track and report inventory turns across the site, then implement and manage procedures to optimize.
Coach, train, advise, plan, and evaluate performance of assigned staff.
Validate inventory discrepancies, research and identify root causes to formulate recommendations in the form of process enhancements to improve inventory accuracy
Communicate with individuals at all levels within the organization

To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field preferred
A relevant designation such as the APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or equivalent
5-10 years of purchasing/procurement management experience in a heavy manufacturing industry, including the purchasing of technical, mechanical, or electrical products/materials
Excellent analytical problem-solving, organizational, and negotiation skills
Ability to work efficiently and accurately as well as work cross functionally and collaboratively with engineering, sales, parts and production departments
Demonstrated experience with Lean/Operational Excellence/Continuous improvement methods.
Knowledge of strategies and tools for controlling and optimizing the factors that lie between purchase of raw materials and delivery of finished products
Effectively delegate tasks, make decisions, interpret, and communicate work requirements and goals while managing impactful department priorities
Skilled in working efficiently and accurately to keep up with production requirements
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Flexible and adaptable in coping with pressures, deadlines, and rapidly changing situations
