We are looking for a professional Supply Chain Director to manage and lead all Supply Chain activities. You should be ready to mentor your team members, find ways to increase quality of customer service and implement best practices across all levels. Ultimately, we\xe2\x80\x99ll trust you to help us remain compliant, efficient and profitable during the course of business. Responsibilities

  • Managing and lead all Supply Chain activities, Purchasing/Scheduling/Logistics;
  • Developing and implementing supply chain strategies aligned to the business vision to address short and long-term challenges and leverage opportunities for cost savings;
  • Building and extending long-term, fail-safe supply chain networks including all planning/control systems;
  • Cost optimization for logistics (storage, shipping) and purchasing; optimization of internal and external interfaces throughout the whole supply chain;
  • Full transparency of material cost in order to plan, execute and monitor any supply chain activities as well as supporting a most cost-efficient and reliable inventory management;
  • Plan, execute and monitor annual departmental budget;
  • Manage vendor relationships and execute vendor performance management techniques in accordance with standards and guidelines
  • Hire and develop of departmental employees including training, coaching, performance management and career development, ensuring alignment of individual, line of business and corporate objectives;
  • Establish a continuous improvement culture to improve reporting tools, business processes and knowledge management;
  • Work with suppliers and customers in different time zones which may require alternate work hours
Requirements
  • Proven work experience in senior management or similar role for over 5 years
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to quickly understand and identify issues and implement solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
  • Extensive experience budgeting and forecasting
  • Familiarity with business and financial principles
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Leadership ability
  • Outstanding organisational skills
  • Degree in Business, Management in supply chain or related fields
