who will be responsible for the planning and coordination of outbound orders from production/warehouse to 3PL or directly to customers. This role will also be involved in the procurement of materials used for production and maintenance for our innovative world-class brewery based in Surrey, B.C. This position reports directly to the Director of Supply Chain.
What You'll Do:
Plan, coordinate and schedule outbound shipments with partner carriers and 3PL warehouses.
Provide daily updated outbound schedule to shipping team.
Create pick lists and communicate with shipping office on orders.
Assist shipping office with shipping documents and checking in drivers.
Process sales orders for deliveries or pickups. Ensure delivery appointments are scheduled.
Verify inventory availability for upcoming orders.
Coordinate with production and warehouse on repacking projects based on orders received.
Generate inventory and sales data reports.
Support and drive the Continual improvement initiatives related standard work, waste reduction and the overall efficiencies in the supply chain operational process improvement plans
Monitor and ensure transactions are up to date in the ERP system to ensure inventory accuracy.
Assist with the ERP integration strategy combining SAP with WMS. Document processes, and training of warehouse team of the system.
Assist shipping office with shipping documents and checking in drivers.
Assist in reviewing and coordinating inventory movements between warehouses.
Process products withdraw for retail store tasting room.
Assist in arranging and coordinating national purchase order requests
Process work orders for co-packing completed in the warehouse
Process pub orders for kegs and packaged products
Monitor CHEP pallet inventory against production schedule and place CHEP pallet orders to ensure sufficient coverage for production needs
Complete and maintain all required administrative documentation for all supply chain areas
Assist with inventory cycle counts process and data entry
Coordinate delivery schedules with co-pack customer's assigned carriers and keep the customer's shared folder updated
Schedule appointments and coordinate deliveries to LDB in a timely manner
Arrange sample deliveries to relevant recipients across the country
Coordinate the shipment of WIP products to a third-party service provider for repackaging, and arrange for the repackaged goods to be returned to customers
Who You Are:
College Degree in Business Management/Logistics/Supply Chain
3 years' experience in Logistics, Materials Planning, Supply Planning, and Inventory Control
Extra attention to details, communication skill and multi-tasking skills is a must
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is a plus
Experienced heavy user of SAP or other ERP applications would be preferred
Experience in the Beer, Wine & Spirits Distribution is an asset
Experience in Shipping and Receiving, Import and Export is an asset
