We are hiring a SUPPLY CHAIN & LOGISTICS SPECIALIST with a strong background in LOGISTIC DESIGN SOLUTIONS AND ORDER MANAGEMENT to join the Schneider Electric Solar and Storage team in RICHMOND BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA.


What will you do?
  • Understand, design, and implement order flow processes to efficiently move goods and information within Schneider, its factories, end customers, and ERP systems.
  • Administer end-to-end Supply Chain coordination with a priority on logistics flows and order processes from our factories to global warehouse locations and finally to end user customers.
  • Work with Category Managers and Project Managers to identify transportation flows and solutions, including international shipments which require knowledge of customs and tariff implications.
  • Work in cooperation with our partners organizing item reception, storage, inventory management, order preparation, and final shipment to end customers.
  • Support various teams with order processing, distribution, and coordination of shipments, pre and post sales queries, stock level management, logistics and product information.
  • Create dashboards, presentations, and recommendations showing market analysis and trends.
  • Cost tracking and identification of optimization opportunities (ie: consolidation of shipments, scheduling, cost research and analysis)


Qualifications:
What qualifications will make you successful?
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business, supply chain or a related field with 5-7 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in logistics planning, transportation and order flow design and controls, order planning and project support.
  • In depth understanding in transportation order flows \xe2\x80\x93 an intimate knowledge of not only how physical goods move once orders are placed, but also the information and data required to transact orders between systems inside an organization (Specifically ERP systems, EDI transactions etc)
  • Knowledge in trade compliance, international logistics, customs regulations, Third-Party Logistics providers (3PL) and experience with ERP systems (ie: Oracle and SAP) as well as proficiency in Excel.
  • Possess the ability to quickly acquire an in-depth understanding of the internal applications and processes to administer orders and move our goods.
  • Resourcefulness \xe2\x80\x93 You are self-sufficient and can work with various teams to decipher and understand information, manipulate data, and create new and improved processes.
  • Ability to take direction from multiple sources, prioritize and multi-task under pressure
  • Ability to think with a global mindset and work with an international culturally diverse team where you will foster trusting relationships with colleagues.
