Job Description

The Supply Chain and Inventory Management Analyst is a highly visible role that requires frequent interaction with members of the organization. You will be responsible for CMS and ASC planning data, inventory management, and working capital as it relates to inventory levels, and scrap mitigation for the assigned location. You will manage end item forecasts for the ASC and CMS programs. You will be the primary contact for CMS managers and supervisors and will execute new item setup. You will also be responsible for supply chain reporting for assigned areas. You will report to the CMS Chemical Manager. Key Responsibilities

• Drive annual working capital improvement across the managed categories in the region through effective management of forecasts and inventory levels.
• Mitigate scrap and obsolescence across managed categories by effective use of planning and forecasting.
• Meet customer OTIF requirements by setting appropriate safety stock levels and through the effective use of forecasting strategies.
• Develop quarterly communication reviews with key region stakeholders. This should involve the review of upcoming change projects and an understanding of the forward business needs.
• Participate in monthly demand meetings as the site liaison to the sales and operations planning process.
• Coordinate new item setup.
• Ensure the supplier price lists align with CMS customer pricing agreements on a local level.
• Identify local opportunities for cost savings and work closely with the sourcing team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in procurement or supply chain related role
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree desired. Will consider 5+ years\xe2\x80\x99 applicable experience in lieu of a degree.
• Aerospace experience a plus.
• Knowledge of QAD and Aero TSS preferred
• Knowledge of IT tools such as SAP, PowerBI, MS Office (Excel, Access), SharePoint and Intranet is a plus. Advanced Excel skills are a must.
