Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to lead our team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and food handling, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring food safety standards are met, and fostering a positive work environment for staff. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OWN CAR OR RELIABLE SOURCE OF TRANSPORTATION. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK VERY LATE DURING THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY AND NEW YEAR'S EVE, OR ANY HOLIDAYS OR LONG WEKEND, WITH FULL AVAILABILITY.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of front and back of the house to ensure efficient operation. Train and mentor team members on food handling procedures, customer service best practices, and kitchen protocols. Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation in compliance with health regulations. Assist in the preparation of meals and ensure quality control of food items served. Handle cash transactions accurately and oversee cash handling procedures Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues to enhance guest satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food industry or hospitality sector. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism. Experience in cooking or kitchen operations is preferred. Ability to effectively train and motivate team members. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Familiarity with cash handling processes is an asset. Must possess excellent communication skills to interact effectively with staff and customers.
