We are looking for a Supervisor, Underwriting Support Staff

This Supervisor role will assist the Associate Manager and Assistant Manager with budget input, staffing level recommendations, recruitment, recommendations for promotions, and communication to department/inter-department. You will manage the Underwriting support staff that includes: Support Technicians, Rate Coders, Report Coordinators, UW Admins & Report Coordinators

What you will do

  • managing performance reviews, development, workflow supervision, process review and maintenance

What you will bring
  • 2-5 years experience in Underwriting
  • All work performed in the role utilizes Excel, Word, Outlook, Access as basis for tools and templates. Needs to be proficient for self and also reasonably be a resource for direct reports on using these tools
  • Needs to be able to manage priorities of analyst work with leadership tasks
  • Able to problem solve a variety of data integrity issues for support team and assist with problem solving for Underwriters/Analysts
