This individual must coordinate the day-to-day activities of payroll, ensuring compliance with all legislative, collective agreements and policies governing payroll procedures. As well, the responsibility of this role is to ensure the timely and accurate submission and processing of bi-weekly payroll for 5000+ employees within a diverse environment, while working within extremely tight deadlines to ensure maximum productivity across the Municipality's Business Units. The Supervisor, Payroll proactively identifies system, payroll and client issues and implements effective solutions.
