Description
The Supervisor of Accounting will oversee the day-to-day administration of the water and waste water billing cycle, accounts payable, and accounts receivable in an effective internal control environment. In addition, this position will be responsible for the coordination of capital grant reporting requirements as required, overseeing the review of monthly reconciliations and completing complex reconciliations. This position will also provide support to the Department’s managers by preparing complex analyses. Reporting to the Manager of Revenue and Financial Planning and the Manager of Accounting Services, this position plays an integral role in providing support to all departments and to provide effective and efficient financial services to the Municipality’s residents and other levels of government. Note: The Municipality of Leamington’s health and safety standard requires all employees to have received at least two (2) doses of the COVID-19 vaccine at least two (2) weeks prior to entering or attending the workplace.
