Maritime Electric Company, Limited is seeking candidates for the position of: Supervisor, IT Development
(Three-Year Term) Reporting to the Manager of IT, the Supervisor, IT Development is responsible for oversite and mentoring of a development/maintenance team. The successful candidate will have responsibilities including but not limited to the following: Responsibilities:

• Supervision of four Software Developers including performance management, training, coaching and regular performance reviews.
• Manage help desk activities; provide technical guidance, assign appropriate resource(s); and ensure proper approvals and procedures are being followed.
• Elicit, capture, and interpret business problems from multiple perspectives across departments; present implications and recommendations.
• Execute well-defined project analysis, including cost benefit, functional decomposition, structured analysis, context diagrams, entity relationships, workflow mapping, and diagramming efficiency studies.
• Execute project management functions by performing the complete project management life cycle for work/process flows.
• Act as the liaison between IT and the business stakeholders.
• Produce and recommend process work flows for management approval for various business units and provide cost benefit analysis.
• Act as project manager for IT capital projects.
• Execute performance management of staff members including safety, training, coaching, and regular performance reviews.

Qualifications:

• The successful candidate will possess a university degree or college diploma focused on Systems Development and/or Geographic Information Systems combined with a minimum of 3 years\' experience supervising a systems development team.

This position offers a competitive and comprehensive compensation and benefits package. The range of salary would be $75,000 - $100,000 per annum.
