About the Positions

The Installation Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing the installation team to ensure all road safety equipment is installed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with industry standards and project specifications. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality work while fostering a positive team environment.
Responsibilities
--------------------
#### Team Leadership & Supervision
• Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to installation team members.
• Delegate tasks effectively to ensure job completion within timelines.
• Monitor team performance and provide feedback to support skill development.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
#### Project Planning & Execution
• Review work orders, blueprints, and site plans to coordinate installation activities.
• Organize and schedule resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
• Troubleshoot challenges that arise on-site and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure that all installations meet quality standards and customer expectations.
#### Safety & Compliance
• Enforce safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and adherence to workplace safety procedures.
• Conduct site inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal road safety regulations.
• Lead safety meetings and promote a culture of accountability.
#### Customer & Stakeholder Communication
• Serve as the main point of contact between the installation team, project managers, and clients.
• Provide updates on project progress, challenges, and completion timelines.
• Address customer concerns and ensure a high level of satisfaction.
#### Inventory & Equipment Management
• Track material usage and ensure proper inventory levels are maintained.
• Oversee the maintenance and proper handling of tools, vehicles, and heavy equipment.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or supply shortages to management.
#### Documentation & Reporting
• + Complete and submit daily reports, time sheets, and project documentation.
+ Record job site conditions, installation details, and any incidents that occur.
+ Work closely with management to analyze project outcomes and implement process improvements.
Qualifications
------------------
• Previous experience in road safety equipment installation, construction, or a related field.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of road safety regulations, traffic control plans, and installation best practices.
• Ability to operate and maintain various hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective communication skills for working with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license (non-GDL) with a clean driving abstract.
• Ability to work in outdoor environments and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 75 lbs.
•This position may be required to work overtime including evenings, weekends and out of town work. •
