JOB RESPONSIBILITIES



We are seeking a dynamic and quality-focused Supervisor to help build and oversee our new George House program. George House is a bed-based housing program for youth ages 14-16 providing support for high needs youth in care. You will lead a team providing 24/7 comprehensive support and care to youth. You will make a difference!

As the George House Services Supervisor, you will:

Supervise, coach and mentor staff. Work on the floor alongside staff and clients to ensure the highest level of client service. Participate in the recruiting process for program staff and provide guidance in staff performance management. Support the screening, orientation and intake of clients. Support the development and implementation of program activities including the psycho-educational and therapeutic programs. Evaluate program activities and client groups. Cultivate a safe and effective care experience. Liaise with community partners to ensure optimal client care. Assist with the development and implementation of the departmental work plan. Facilitate department and sector case management meetings. Support with managing program funding and purchasing of necessary supplies. Manage payroll and scheduling of staff.

Hours of work:

37.5 hours a week, Tuesday-Saturday, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. with flexibility to accommodate program needs

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS



Annual salary: Starting at $59,066 and progressing to $65,501 and comprehensive benefits

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS



Degree or diploma in related Social/Human Sciences - university preferred Registration with a professional governing body preferred Minimum 2 years' experience in supervisory role Demonstrated expertise in the delivery of client centered services and program evaluation Demonstrated skills in leadership and coaching Proof of valid First Aid/CPR certification Familiarity with MS Office and client/EMR databases Access to reliable transportation Ability to manage frequent exposure to direct and vicarious traumatic stress
