As a supervisor in Accounting Group, you are responsible for managing a group of employees with similar nature of tasks for day-to-day work, weekly or monthly deliverables, receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and the process by which to meet goals, provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance. Key Responsibilities:

  • Month end closing
  • Chart of Account Maintenance
  • Balance Sheet Review and Reconciliations
  • Internal Audit Process and SOX Checklist
  • GL/CMR mapping and Month end Loading
  • Intercompany Accounting, Banking and other transaction processing

How will you get here?

Education and Experience:
  • University Degree with a specialization in Accounting
  • Professional Accounting Designation is preferred
  • Sophisticated level MS Excel skills, strong overall PC skills
  • Minimum 3+ years related experience
  • Ability to work independently but also within a team environment with a dedication to excellence and a strong work ethic
  • Excellent interpersonal skills both oral and written
  • Experience and knowledge of Business Intelligence applications is an asset
