Le superviseur generaliste de l'environnement CG supervise la creation de nos environnements numeriques. Vous releverez du superviseur des effets visuels et du superviseur numerique et serez charge de definir l'apparence des environnements dans le film conformement a la direction creative des superviseurs VFX et DFX, et de maintenir des normes de qualite elevees.
Le superviseur generaliste de l'environnement CG travaille avec l'equipe Environnements/Generaliste afin d'etablir un workflow optimal pour une creation efficace des environnements, y compris les tests de rendu, l'optimisation et la publication des environnements dans le pipeline pour la propagation des plans. Vous travaillerez en etroite collaboration avec les autres superviseurs des departements afin d'assurer une transmission claire de tout le travail entre les departements et vous travaillerez main dans la main avec la production pour definir les calendriers de livraison et les etapes importantes. Les superviseurs environnementaux seront responsables de la qualite artistique et technique du travail de leur equipe et de la repartition efficace des taches.
Exigences
Experience en tant que superviseur environnemental, avec des competences averees dans la gestion et la realisation d'environnements complexes.
Plus de 10 ans d'experience dans le domaine des effets visuels pour les longs metrages, et une comprehension approfondie du pipeline des effets visuels.
Competences averees en matiere de gestion d'equipe et de motivation.
Excellentes competences en communication.
Connaissance approfondie des logiciels et des packages d'effets visuels pertinents.
Comprehension approfondie des processus d'effets speciaux 3D et 2,5D et des pipelines de production.
Solides connaissances pratiques d'une gamme de logiciels utilises dans l'industrie des effets speciaux, notamment Maya, Mari et Nuke.
Experience de haut niveau en modelisation, texturation, mise en page, eclairage et matte painting numerique.
Bonne comprehension du compositing.
Experience dans le developpement de concepts artistiques en environnements photorealistes.
Une experience dans la generation procedurale de villes/terrains et les outils de dispersion est un atout.
Experience dans le travail avec des donnees de prise de vue, y compris des donnees photographiques et de reference, des HDRIs, la photogrammetrie et le Lidar.
Solides connaissances et comprehension du monde naturel (geologie, geographie et meteorologie) et de l'architecture (conception et ingenierie).

The CG Environment Generalist Supervisor oversees the creation of our digital environments. You will report to the Visual Effects Supervisor and Digital Supervisor and are responsible for establishing the look of the environments in the film in accordance with the VFX and DFX supervisors' creative direction, and maintaining high-quality standards.
The CG Environment Generalist Supervisor works with the Environments/Generalist team to establish a best practice workflow for efficient Environment creation, including render testing, optimizing, and publishing environments to the pipeline for shot propagation. You will be working closely with other department supervisors to ensure clear delivery of all work between departments and will be working hand in hand with production to define delivery schedules and milestones. The Environment Supervisors will be responsible for the artistic and technical quality of the output from their team and for delegating work effectively.
Must have
Experience as an Environment Supervisor, with proven capability in managing and delivering complex Environment requirements
10+ years experience within VFX feature films, a thorough understanding of the VFX pipeline
Proven team leader with strong motivational qualities
Strong communication skills
High-level knowledge of relevant VFX packages and software
Thorough understanding of 3D and 2.5D VFX processes and production pipelines
Strong working knowledge of a range of VFX industry software, including Maya, Mari and Nuke.
High-level experience in modelling, texturing, layout, lighting and digital matte painting
Good understanding of compositing
Experience developing concept art into photo-real environments
Experience with procedural city/terrain generation and scattering tools is an advantage
Experience working with shoot data including photographic and reference data, HDRIs, photogrammetry and Lidar
Strong knowledge and understanding of the natural world (geology, geography and meteorology) and architecture (design and engineering)
