Twin Staffing is proud to be representing one of Canada's most well-respected general contractors (confidential client) in their search for a Superintendent to join their Special Projects team in Calgary. This is an ideal entry-point Superintendent role for someone looking to grow their career with one of the country's best builders--delivering complex, fast-paced projects under $10M in the commercial and institutional sectors.
You'll be walking into a backlog of new projects launching next year and filling the shoes of a Superintendent who was recently promoted to lead one of the company's large-scale jobs. That same growth opportunity is available to you.

What You'll Be Doing
Lead all on-site construction activities and site personnel from mobilization to closeout
Ensure safety, schedule, quality, and trade coordination are all managed effectively
Liaise with Project Managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to keep projects running smoothly
Schedule daily/weekly tasks, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to plans/specs
Maintain and submit site reports, inspections, photos, and deficiency tracking
Support lean construction principles and drive continuous improvement onsite
Take ownership of small-to-mid-sized jobs and build your way to larger, more complex builds
Who We're Looking For
3-5+ years of field leadership experience (as Superintendent or General Foreman) with a reputable GC
Background in carpentry, concrete, or electrical trades strongly preferred
Experience on commercial or institutional projects under $10M is ideal
Comfortable overseeing multiple trades and coordinating site activity
Highly organized, safety-focused, and respected by field teams
CSTS 2020, WHMIS, and First Aid required (or willing to obtain)
Bonus: Experience on browfield sites, utility/substations, or modular builds

Base salary:
$90,000-$115,000/year
