The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RI-MUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Qu\xc3\xa9bec - Sant\xc3\xa9 (FRQS).Position summary
Under the supervision of the Manager of Building Operations and Maintenance, the incumbent will work on all aspects related to operational projects, facilities systems, building maintenance as well as infrastructure database updates.General Duties

• Participate in specific operational or maintenance projects as directed by supervisors,
• Assist in routine maintenance and inspections of research facilities and systems to ensure operational efficiency and safety,
• Assist in the day-to-day requests from the users,
• Learn about safety protocols and standards within the laboratory and research environments,
• Assist in the administrative task of the division,
• Perform other duties as requested by the manager.

• CEGEP student in natural sciences or university student in civil or mechanical engineering,
• Bilingual, French and English (spoken and written),
• Sound knowledge of general office routines,
• Detail-oriented,
• Experience with Microsoft Office,
• Autonomous,
• Good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.

Additional informationStatus : Temporary, full time
Pay Scale: Commensurate with qualifications and experience, $15.75/h to $25.79/h.
Work Shift: 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Mondays to Fridays
