Overview:
Reporting to the Director Health, Safety, & Environment (HSE), the HSE Summer Student will assist the HSE department in administrative, training, and marketing the policies and procedures of Health, Safety, & Environment. Responsibilities:
- Entering corrective actions from old investigations and concern reports;
- Printing and sending out SDS, Spill, Haz Waste, OHS Regs;
- Facilitating development of virtual training programs using PP and previously established scripts;
- Development of readme files and training documentation for established HSE programs;
- Template for training needs assessment; Support build on template and facilitate interviews with HSE staff
- Develop system for workflows: Develop script for trainings of automated systems Develop training quick guides and readme files Documentation of workflow
- Build Diagram of NTPC health and safety management system manual
Qualifications:
- Completed a minimum of one year of post secondary education and returning Fall 2023.
- Grade 12 diploma required.
- Ability to use a computer and work productively in an office environment.
- Experience with computer programs:
- Microsoft Word
- PowerPoint
- Excel
- Visio
- Good interpersonal and conversational skill
- Experience working in teams
- Good written communication skills
- Creative information presentation skill

This position pays $27.80 per hour plus 10% vacation pay. No housing or relocation assistance provided.
