  • Understand each child and their family\'s unique needs, planning for successful outcomes.
  • Ensure seamless execution of daily routines, documenting and completing tasks promptly.
  • Comply with New Brunswick Child Care standards and Abuse Protocol Practices, aligning programming with YMCA and New Brunswick standards.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures, responding promptly and effectively in emergencies.
  • To strive to ensure that every child who attends The Glenn Carpenter Center is treated with respect, understanding and compassion.
  • Responsible for ensuring that Glenn Carpenter Center remains a peaceful, positive and educational environment for all its campers, CITs staff, resources and guests.
  • Understands and complies with Child Protection Practices.
  • Each staff member is expected to be a positive role model in all aspects of camp life, being particularly conscious of personal behavior including dress, speech, etiquette, and relationships with others.
Skills and Qualifications :
  • Previous experience in a Day Camp or Youth Program setting.
  • Strong work ethic and exceptional organizational skills
  • Excellent team player with cooperative leadership abilities.
  • Flexible with working hours and locations.
  • Employment contingent on a clean Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search.
  • Current or willingness to obtain First Aid and CPR.
