Kind & Confident Ed's Young Yogis Summer Camp is a Kid's Yoga & Mindfulness Summer Camp for campers Ages 6-12 and their families across the GTA.

Our mission is to "Help children grow mindfully through movement, connection and self love so they can learn to be kind to themselves and others" through our curriculum. Young Yogis helps campers find inner peace and self love by making summer mindful. Through kids yoga, crafting, outdoor fun, theme days and more, campers move, explore and grow. We partner with various locations such as community centres and outdoor facilities to help bring children an empowering summer camp experience. We are currently looking for Camp Counsellors who are kind, energetic and passionate in working with children ages 6-12 years old.

Requirements:

-Summer camp experience

-Experience working with children

-Must be flexible with hours and willing to commute to different locations for camp

-Standard First Aid- CRP-C (Valid for 2 years)

-Vulnerable Sector Screening

-High 5 Certified

Job Behaviours:

-Maintain a warm and welcoming environment to children

-Professionalism in interaction with participants, location staff etc

-Arrive 15 minutes prior to start of camp day to set up and engaging/ age appropriate programs

-Able to create and follow lesson plans

-Attend virtual trainings and in person trainings.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $17.20-$17.50 per hour

Work Location: In person
