Summer Camp Counsellor

Reports to:

Program Director

Located in the rapidly growing city of Belleville, Ontario and just off the 401, Zone Athletics is a high-value athletic program in Quinte for athletes ages birth to 18+. This sports facility offers recreational classes for cheerleading, tumbling, and parkour, in addition to day camps, themed events, and birthday parties to individuals of all ages and abilities.

As our Summer Camp Counsellor, you will be a champion for providing a welcoming, nurturing, and positive place for our athletes and campers to develop to their full potential.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Do you want to positively impact the lives of today's youth? Due to our growing camp programs, Zone Athletics is looking to add 5 full-time counsellors and 2 part-time counsellors to our summer camp team.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

To be considered for this position, you musthave the following:

Be a strong role model Experience working with children in various settings, such as camps, schools, or tutoring environments Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong initiative and motivation to deliver high value programming to all clients The ability to work positively in a team environment The ability to meet deadlines and objectives independently The skills that allow you to be meticulous in detail and follow-through Valid Vulnerable Sector check

First Aid & CPR-C
