Job Overview

We are looking for a Camp Coordinator to organize and help run our 2025 Golf & Tennis Camp. The Camp Coordinator will report to the Associate Admin Manager.

Responsibilities consist of, but are not limited to, the overall direction, organization, and supervision of a summer camp program. Designing and planning activities and programs for campers, and instruct staff and children in one or more program areas. This position supervises counselors to ensure staff is engaging campers in fun and stimulating activities. The Camp Coordinator provides a friendly, safe, and welcoming environment for counsellors, campers and volunteers.

Responsibilities and Duties

Consist of, but not limited to:

? Provides a safe, fun and structured program

? Plans, organizes, directs, administers and oversees camp programs

? Manages, uses and distributes program supplies

? Supervision of summer Camp Counsellors and Volunteers

? Supervises activities for all designated campers

? Provide guidance to counsellors and volunteers, acting as a mentor

? Ensuring Health and Safety Practices are followed

? Takes action to deal with incidents, problems, emergencies and parent/caregiver concerns/inquiries

Qualifications

? Minimum of two (2) years' experience instructing children in specialty programs

? Minimum of two (2) years of leadership or counselling experience in a camp environment

? Valid First Aid & CPR-C Certification

? Excellent communication, programming, and leadership skills.
