The Uplift Summer Camp, hosted by Oasis of Grace Family and Multicultural Centre, is a transformative program dedicated to fostering skill development, personal growth, and community engagement among youth.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Camp Coordinator to oversee camp operations, manage staff, and provide administrative support for a transformative summer experience for
campers aged 9-15.

The Camp Coordinator will lead the Uplift Summer Camp, managing daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring a safe, inclusive environment for campers. The role includes administrative duties such as financial reporting, communication, and event coordination, requiring strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for youth development.
Key Responsibilities
:
Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily camp activities (e.g., morning assemblies, Friday presentations), ensuring alignment with camp goals.
Supervise and support camp staff (instructors, counselors), fostering a collaborative environment.
Act as the main point of contact for parents, guardians, and stakeholders, managing inquiries and updates via email, calls, or in-person.
Oversee camp logistics, including scheduling, attendance tracking, and supply inventory.
Provide administrative support, including preparing financial reports (with Accounting Assistant), managing records, and handling correspondence.
Assist with grant writing and donor reports to support camp funding.
Support community events (e.g., camp showcases) and manage social media content to promote the camp's mission.
Ensure camper safety and well-being, enforcing policies and coordinating supervision with counselors.
Evaluate program success through feedback collection and provide reports for improvement.
Promote inclusivity and cultural sensitivity in all activities.
Qualifications
:
Educational qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Social Work, Youth Development, Recreation, Management) or actively working towards obtaining one.
Experience in program coordination, youth programming, or camp settings.
Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for working with youth.
Experience with grant writing or financial reporting is an asset.
Knowledge of socio-economic empowerment and mentorship principles is an asset.
First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain before camp start date).
Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and work collaboratively.
Commitment to the mission and values of Oasis of Grace Family and Multicultural Centre.
Must be a
Canadian citizen or permanent resident between the ages of 18 - 30
